- Check in with the customer and tenants at the beginning and end of each day to help address any specific requests and issues.
- Provide courteous guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints.
- Cleaning, sweeping, picking up trash, disinfecting where necessary.
- Responsible for cleaning common areas for waste and tidiness.
- Clean entry-way glass, inside and outside surfaces.
- Monitor restrooms multiple times daily to remove waste, clean/wipe down counter tops, partitions, floors, and toilets.
- Restock restroom consumable items as necessary.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors, vacuums, hallways, stairs, and office space.
- Empty trash and garbage containers.
- Clean up spills as needed.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and chemicals and provide information to the Supervisor.
- Work alone, without direct supervision.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies, and energy.
- Follow all security, and emergency procedures.
Requirements:
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Janitorial and/or Porter experience required
- High sense of urgency
- Must be able to stand on feet for 8 hours
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to uphold company policies and procedures
- Must have own transportation and must possess a clean criminal background
