COURT PROGRAM SPECIALIST II – JUVENILE ARBITRATION

Description of Work:
This is responsible administrative adjudication work conducting juvenile arbitration educational sessions, monitoring progress of juveniles through the program and supervising evening mediations. Working relationships are established with program participants, community service agencies, criminal justice agencies, and other court personnel. Work is performed with a large degree of independence and discretion under the supervision of the Juvenile Diversion Programs Director. Assignments are made orally or in writing; and work is reviewed through observation of results obtained, conferences, and periodic reports or evaluations.
Minimum Training and Experience Required:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in criminal justice, social work, or a related discipline and two years related experience. Experience with the courts system, school system, and/or juvenile justice system preferred. Certification as a county court mediator, this may be achieved after initial hire.

Salary:
$1756.54 bi-weekly / $45,669.96 annually plus Pinellas County benefits
Remote work is available for most positions with a supervisor’s recommendation, not to exceed two days per week.
