We are looking for a Material Lead responsible for controlling all material coming into production room from Decant. Assures that all material is supplied to assigned production lines in a timely and efficient manner to avoid any negative impact to the efficiency of the lines running. Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
SHIFT: Sunday through Thursday from 10:00PM to 6:30AM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Maintain safe working environment for all associates.
- Identify when carts are not safe to use for tasks.
- Move decant carts to and from the production roll up door and decant lines.
- Communicate with Production Leads to understand specific needs of each assembly line. • Communicate with Warehouse Decant Leads to relay information regarding material needed and timing of delivery.
- Deliver all components to the correct line to match the SKU that is running.
- Perform visual inspections to detect the difference among similar items (Cheese, Egg patties).
- Coordinate the “NC” non-conforming process.
- Coordinate all material delivery to the slicing room.
- Coordinate movement of pallets from WIP area to the decant line area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent and six months of related experience and/or training are required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Must be forklift certified.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Knowledge of and ability to use SK Food Group ERP system.
- Understanding of process steps including over-issuing of components and return to stock.
- Able to effectively read, write and communicate in English language.
- Understanding of math at intermediate level to track consumption of material and replenishments needs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime, as necessary.
- Strong communication and organization skills.

Pay: From $19.35 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
