Quality Assurance Manager – Lead Excellence at SKC Inc.

As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead the charge in maintaining and advancing our ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that every product meets the highest industry standards—because at SKC, quality isn’t just a requirement, it’s a commitment.
What You’ll Do
Champion Quality Management
- Maintain and enhance the ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure ISO/IEC 17025:2017 compliance for laboratory accreditation.
- Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve quality challenges.
- Conduct internal audits and lead the Quality System Audit & Review Program.
- Monitor QMS performance and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
Drive Quality Control & Compliance
- Promote a culture of quality across all departments.
- Oversee supplier evaluations, First Article Inspections (FAI), and regulatory approvals (ATEX, IECEx, UKCA, CE, etc.).
- Ensure all employees impacting quality are properly trained and certified.
- Proactively address nonconforming products and implement process improvements.
Lead & Inspire a High-Performing Team:
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development to the QA team.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to embed quality in every process.
- Act as the key liaison between Quality Assurance and other departments.
- Uphold local, state, and federal compliance regulations with integrity and precision.
Ensure Clear & Effective Documentation:
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation that aligns with internal and external requirements.
- Deliver professional reports and strategic quality updates to senior leadership.

What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing setting, with 5 years in leadership.
- Deep expertise in ISO 9001 QMS management and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes including printed circuit board assemblies, machined parts, and injection-molded plastics.
- Strong background in CAPA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive quality initiatives and collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency in quality management software, statistical analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
