Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Develop, implement, and periodically update nursing policies and procedures.
- Manage the recruitment process for nursing staff, and ensure ongoing staff training and development.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels, ensuring the team is skilled and fully equipped to meet residents' needs.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Stay informed of all facility-related incidents and provide guidance as needed.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of each resident’s health needs and coordinate appropriate care plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- At least 5 years of experience in long-term care settings.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage nursing staff with effectiveness and empathy.
