EVS AND HOUSEKEEPING DIRECTOR
A Skilled Nursing Facility in Miami-Dade County, FL is seeking a full-time EVS and Housekeeping Director to join our team!

Responsibilities of the EVS and Housekeeping Director:
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping, laundry and floor care staff at the center according to policies and procedures, and federal/state requirements.
- Coordinate daily housekeeping and laundry services with nursing service when performing routine cleaning and laundry assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
- Organize and direct employee assignments to maximize effective and efficient work schedules.
- Provides leadership, support and coordination to ensure the quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.
- Maintains records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel and equipment.
Requirements of the EVS Director:
- Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years experience in a housekeeping or laundry position in a nursing home or other related medical facility.
- Must be familiar with care of various types of floors, with cleaning materials, etc., and with cleaning and general housekeeping methods and equipment.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
