Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Plumber with experience in working with copper piping for cold water supply. The ideal candidate must be proficient in using Pro Press tools for secure and efficient connections. This role requires expertise in pipe testing, troubleshooting leaks, and properly insulating the piping system to meet safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and maintain copper piping systems for cold water supply in commercial buildings.
- Utilize Pro Press tools to make secure and efficient pipe connections.
- Conduct pressure and leak tests to ensure system integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Apply appropriate insulation techniques to maintain temperature control and prevent condensation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing schematics.
- Work with contractors, engineers, and project managers to complete installations efficiently.
- Adhere to all local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs or modifications.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3 years of experience as a commercial plumber.
- Strong knowledge of copper pipe installation and repair.
- Experience using Pro Press tools for pipe connections.
- Ability to perform pressure and leak testing on plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of proper insulation materials and techniques for copper piping.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions if required.
