Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes, mills, and grinders to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, and drilling.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within tolerance and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
