Our Las Vegas headquarters is home to our national customer service, accounting, and technology teams, along with our Network Operations Center (NOC), which provides Internet security services and remote 24/7 monitoring for all of our networks.

Smart City is hiring a full stack software developer in Palm Beach County, FL. (Remote Partially Onsite) Smart City is the leading provider of technology services for convention centers, events, and tradeshows as well as the fastest Internet provider in Central Florida.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and implementing new features, applications, and functionalities in alignment with business needs.
• Maintaining and enhancing existing applications for continuous improvement.
• Working collaboratively with the software development team and Senior Director of Software Development to plan and architect future features and products.
• Designing and architecting robust web applications and databases.
• Interacting with various stakeholders to comprehend, define, and document business requirements and user stories.
• Conducting rigorous testing of components, features, and applications.
• Documenting and diagramming systems thoroughly and preparing comprehensive project reports.
• Supporting across various software disciplines, products, and office initiatives as needed.
• Contributing constructively and actively to team efforts in a sprint agile environment.
• Creating new features, applications, and functionality per business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional experience as a software developer.
• 5 years of industry experience with C#, .NET Core and MS frameworks.
• 3 years of industry experience with SQL (MS SQL, SQLite, MySQL).
• 3 years of industry experience in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• 1 years of expertise in at least one front-end framework such as Angular, React, Vue, Typescript etc.
• Ability to write complete applications, including backend, frontend, API, and database components.
• Experience in architecting web applications and databases.
• Knowledge of security and privacy best practices.
• Adaptability to learn and work with different languages, platforms, tools, and SDKs.
• Experience with integrating with 3rdparty APIs and services.
• Ability to work with source control tools like Git, DevOps, etc.
• Proficiency in creating engaging UI and UX, including wireframes.
• Capacity to work independently, manage projects, follow up on tasks, and operate with minimal direction.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at video calls, verbal, and written communication.
• Must currently live in Palm Beach County/ Central Florida.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• BS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes (k8s).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud infrastructure products.
• Experience with mobile SDKs, including iOS, Android, and Flutter.
• Experience with CRM development, including Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.
