Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and support within our chiropractic practice. You will assist the chiropractor in various tasks, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of service and comfort during their visits.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Conduct initial patient assessments, including gathering medical history and understanding patient concerns.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is sanitized and organized.
- Assist the chiropractor during treatments, which may include applying modalities, setting up equipment, and guiding patients through exercises.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and wellness strategies to promote recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records using medical terminology and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Answer patient inquiries regarding services, treatments, and office policies.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for understanding treatment protocols.
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for patients.
- Familiarity with medical terminology to communicate effectively within the healthcare setting.
- Ability to perform basic patient assessments to assist in treatment planning.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and improving patient care practices.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
