Job Summary:
Sales Associate to join our small retail team. The ideal candidate will have experience and enthusiastic customer service skills, and the ability to communicate well with our customers. As a salesman, you will be expected to run sales, suggest alternatives, and learn new products as we advance for our customers.
We offer commissions and have two other locations as an oppurtunity for additional hours!
What is Expected of Every Employee:
1. Open up the store, operate alarm system.
2. Check humidor humidity and water level.
3. Count all cash in the register while doing the appropriate paperwork.
4. Manage and operate lottery while doing the appropriate paperwork.
5. Help dust, clean glass counters, sweep, mop, label new products, check expiration dates, clean employee areas, etc.
6. Computerize paperwork after every shift.
7. Go up and down a 3-step ladder, walk quickly to and from backroom.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, and lottery preferred.
- Reliable shift coverage, advanced notice if will not be coming in or will be late as we are a very small team.
- Availability on weekends and for closing shifts is a must. Our store hours range from 8:00am-8:30pm. You will not be asked to come in outside of these times.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends is a must.
- Ability to go up and down a 3-step ladder, ability to walk back and forth quickly.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
