Immigration Paralegal Job Details:
Snell & Wilmer L.L.P., one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the western United States, is seeking a full-time Immigration Paralegal to join our Labor and Employment practice group in our Tucson office. This role involves preparing and filing complex business immigration matters, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and communicating with clients and government agencies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Prepare and file non-immigrant and immigrant petitions, including E, H-1B, L, O, TN, PERM labor certifications, and Adjustment of Status applications

Assist attorneys in drafting support letters, legal documents, and case correspondence

Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain compliance with immigration regulations

Conduct research and stay updated on immigration laws, policies, and procedural updates

Draft legal documents, including petitions, support letters, and client correspondence

Communicate with clients to collect necessary information and provide case updates

Communicate with clients, attorneys, and government agencies (USCIS, DOL, DOS) to facilitate case processing

Assist in responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and audits
Experience and Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree and certificate from an ABA-accredited paralegal training program or equivalent combination of education and experience, required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a paralegal in employment-based immigration, preferred
- Strong understanding of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and clients
