Job Description
The Payment Posting Specialist is responsible for managing and processing remitted insurance and patient payments. The role requires expertise in payment posting, researching discrepancies and working the aging report.

Essential Responsibilities :
Ensure timely turnaround of saved batches from internal and external posting sources.
Identify and obtain missing information for partially posted batches.
Review and resolve all transactions flagged as errors.
Manage error data collection and provide performance feedback.
Verify the accuracy of batches reported by the payment posting staff using the Remittance Request Form.
Uphold and model the company’s Core Values.
Education Requirements :
Preferred : Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications / Skills :
Minimum of Three year of experience in remittance payment posting
Strong knowledge of medical coding systems,
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Google Workspace tools
Familiarity with insurance payment regulations, reimbursement schemes, coinsurance, deductibles, and contractual adjustments
Ability to interpret VOB / EOB
Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to operate effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and innovative, with a focus on achieving business results while adapting to transitional growth
Experience with hospital and diagnostic billing is preferred
Effective documentation of research and communications related to resolving account balances
Education Requirements :
