Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a energetic General Manager 3 to join our team at one of our high profile accounts in Dover NH and Portsmouth NH. The General Manager will have oversight of both locations. The current food landscape consists of 3 cafes, catering and free coffee program inside of the cafe.

The General Manager 3 will manage day to day operations of Dover and have oversight of the Portsmouth location. The General Manager 3 will be involved in total account management. Other duties include but not limited to:

• Managing the budget/finances
• Client engagement
• Leading and developing a team of 15 hourly employees
• Standardization
• HR related duties

The successful candidate will have at least 2-4 years’ experience in food management leadership, an eye for high end restaurant quality food, attention to detail, a strong financial acumen, computer literacy as well as excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills. 

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client accountProvides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.Key Duties- Provides team leadership & training- Controls unit financials- Directs daily food operations for quality & safety standards- Supervises day to day activities - Delegates authority- Assigns & prioritizes activities- Monitors operating standards- Establishes a safe work environment- Support workplace inclusion activities

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceBasic Management Experience - 3 yearsBasic Functional Experience - 3 years
