Job Description:
As a Sales Specialist at Solar Mounts LLC, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, maintaining relationships, and supporting our clients' needs in the commercial and utility-scale solar industry. This role requires a self-driven, organized, and technically proficient individual with a strong background in sales and a preference for candidates with prior solar industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and engage with potential clients, including solar developers, EPC contractors, and solar project investors, to expand Solar Mounts LLC's customer base.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong and lasting relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional support and addressing their needs promptly.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Solar Mounts LLC's product offerings, technical specifications, and benefits to effectively communicate value to clients.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in technical aspects of solar racking solutions, including the ability to understand and discuss product specifications, drawings, and configurations.
- Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns to drive revenue growth.
- Travel: Be open to occasional travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct on-site visits to project locations as required.
- Flexibility: Be adaptable and willing to adjust work schedules to accommodate client needs and time zones, especially when working with clients in different regions.
- Data Analysis: Utilize tools such as Excel and other software to analyze data, prepare reports, and track sales performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, with a preference for candidates with prior experience in the solar industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Self-driven and motivated to achieve sales targets and goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using technology, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate client meetings and project deadlines.
