Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research to identify grant opportunities from public, private, and corporate sources that align with Solari’s mission.
• Create and maintain a database of potential grants, including eligibility criteria, deadlines, and submission requirements.
• Research trends and funding priorities in ethical AI, operations optimization, and technology-driven initiatives to identify suitable opportunities.

Proposal Writing and Submission:

• Draft persuasive and well-structured grant proposals that effectively communicate Solari’s mission, goals, and impact.
• Tailor proposals to the specific requirements and funding priorities of each grantor.
• Collaborate with team members to gather the necessary data, documents, and budget information for grant applications.
• Ensure proposals are submitted accurately and on time, adhering to all guidelines.

Data Collection and Impact Analysis:

• Work with Solari’s leadership to compile relevant data, case studies, and success stories that strengthen grant applications.

Budget Development and Compliance:

Desired Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

• Pursuing or holding a degree in Communications, English, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with grant databases and tools such as Candid, Foundation Directory Online, or Grants.gov is a plus.
• Basic understanding of budgeting and financial reporting for grant applications.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that align with funder priorities.
• Strong research skills to identify grant opportunities and support data-driven proposals.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks effectively.
