Elementary Special education teacher

Minimum 1 years special education experience required.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in an elementary autism classroom. If you are passionate about making a difference in students lives and have the skills to provide individualized instruction and support, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to ensure student success.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Oregon Special Education teaching license.
• Experience working with students with autism is preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.

10-15 minute screening call with a Soliant Education Recruiter

20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
