We're seeking a dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Minneapolis. As a math teacher, you'll play a vital role in fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills among middle school students.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging math lessons that align with middle school curriculum standards.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore mathematical concepts.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student understanding through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback to support growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate math concepts across disciplines and enhance cross-curricular learning experiences.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student progress and maintain a collaborative learning community.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in math education.
  
  

Contracting Details: This is a full-time hourly contract position for the 2024-2025 school year. Teachers will be employed on a W2 basis and will receive weekly pay. Hourly rates will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
