Transportation Coordinator/Driver Qualifications:

·High school diploma or equivalent.

·Current valid state driver’s license (required)

Transportation Coordinator/Driver Duties and Responsibilities:

·This position is responsible for the safe transportation of residents and employees to and from the facility to pre-determined destinations.

·Operates the facility’s vehicles in a safe manner when transporting residents and employees.

·Assists residents and employees when boarding and disembarking the vehicles.

·Ensures the residents’ and employees’ safe arrival to the pre-determined destinations.

·Maintains route and mileage logs according to facility’s procedure.

·Monitors routing vehicle safety conditions including fuel and vital fuel levels.

·Reports any vehicle problems or maintenance needs to the administrator immediately.

·Ensures that all vehicle passengers follow safety procedures, including fastening seatbelts, prior to moving the van.

·Schedules transportation thru third parties when necessary
