We're looking for a motivated Accounting Supervisor to drive success within the Vegetation Management segment. This is your chance to lead a team bridging corporate finance and field operations, playing a key role in financial close, process improvement, and critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team supporting specific business units/regions in Vegetation Management.
- Bridge the gap between corporate finance and field operations for accounting, FP&A, and reporting needs.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial close and reporting.
- Provide insights on decentralized field operations and drive continuous improvement.
- Support projects like Rave and Connect to streamline data gathering and accruals.
- Identify efficiencies to speed up the financial close process.
- Review journal entries and contribute to project/system implementation.
What You Bring:
- BS in Accounting (CPA preferred, but not required).
- 3-5 years of experience in field/project accounting, preferably in utilities or service industries.
- Experience with decentralized field operations is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative problem-solver with a willingness to learn.
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is a plus.
