Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in fine dining and catering as well as asian fusion preparation.This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, creativity in menu development, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations. The Chef will oversee kitchen operations, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Design and prepare innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste are consistently met.
  • Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and sanitation standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring seamless execution of catering orders.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, presentation skills, and food service practices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or catering environment, preferably in fine dining establishments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the culinary field.
  • Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and cost control strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and vendors effectively.
  • A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory; practical experience is highly valued.
