Overview
SOSi is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist III to join our team in Reston, VA.
Responsibilities
- Oversee processing of expense reports in Chrome River.
- Review, reconcile, and process domestic and foreign travel expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Review and process manual expense reports and reclassifications.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding expense reports submission and reimbursement policies.
- Receives and reviews assigned vendor invoices / check requests within a SharePoint Approval tool and routes for approval.
- Processes in Costpoint approved invoices including invoices issued against a PO, subcontractor workforce PLC detail and uploading of preprocessors.
- Prepares online voucher packages which may include converting files to PDF formats.
- Files approved / posted voucher packages to appropriate online payment folder.
- Assists with research and reconciliation of vendor statements to ensure all invoices have been processed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- 5 to 7 years of Accounts Payable and travel expense report experience working in a U.S. Government contracting environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Teams, SharePoint.
- Experience with Deltek CostPoint including using the PO module to process invoices.
- Knowledge of the JTR and FAR.
- Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with employees and vendors in a professional manner
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- College courses in accounting desired but not required.
- Experience with Chrome River desired but not required.
- Prior supervisory experience desired but not required.
Working Conditions
Working conditions are normal for an office environment; expect to be working at minimum three days per week in the office and remotely the remaining portion of the week; eligible to work remote after 90 days.
Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
May require periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.

Salary : $51,800 - $65,500
