Job Description

The Content Creator will produce authentic, trend-driven content for social media that resonates with our community, particularly on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This role requires someone who combines creativity with strategic thinking to produce engaging content that drives growth and engagement on the platform.

Content Creation & Production

• Create and edit short-form content that aligns with brand voice while staying culturally relevant
• React quickly to trends and viral moments with platform-native content
• Film and edit content using platform’s native features and additional editing tools
  
  

Content Strategy & Planning

• Execute the content calendar while identifying opportunities for reactive content
• Contribute to content planning with trend forecasting and platform insights
• Maintain consistent posting schedule during peak engagement times
• Track and leverage emerging social trends, sounds, and features
  
  

Community Building & Engagement

• Build authentic relationships with SoulCycle's audience through consistent engagement
• Coordinate Lives for key brand moments and product launches
• Monitor community feedback and engagement metrics
• Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors for content creation
  
  

Performance & Reporting

• Track key metrics including follower growth, engagement, and reach
• Provide insights on content performance and community feedback
• Test and optimize content based on performance data
• Contribute to weekly and monthly reporting on strategy
  
  

3-6 Months

How You'll Be Evaluated

• Establish consistent posting cadence with on-brand content
• Show growth in follower count, engagement and viewership metrics
• Successfully react to and capitalize on relevant trends
• Develop efficient content creation and editing workflow
  
  

6-12 Months

• Drive significant growth in account following and engagement
• Build a distinctive brand voice and presence on platforms
• Successfully execute major campaign initiatives
• Demonstrate impact through platform growth metrics
  
  

Qualifications

• Independent and creative professional with 3 years of experience in social content strategy for a brand or media company, specializing in conceptualizing, shooting, and editing short-form content.
• Skilled in writing multi-channel copy, adapting it for each platform while maintaining SoulCycle’s voice.
• Proficient in photo and video editing software, as well as basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Adept at creating high-impact content with minimal assets (e.g., mobile phone, wireless mini mics, ring light, etc.).
  
  

Pay Transparency: Min $70K - Max $75K
