What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at Soundgrowler Brewing Co.?
Purpose of Position:
The Prep Cook is responsible for the production of all food menu items according to Soundgrowler standards and recipes.
Responsibilities:
-Produce food items
-Practice clean as you go
-Always follow SG recipes
-Keep kitchen clean and organized including walk-in
-Clean kitchen equipment daily
-Properly label prepped food
-Practice proper food safety
-May be asked to assist with other duties outside of this job description
-Rotate product as needed
Desired Skills and Experience:
-Hold current food safety certification
-Knowledge of kitchen equipment to include: fryer, flat top, stove and emersion blender.
-Basic knife safety
-Basic communication and reading
-Ability to multi-task
-Kitchen experience a plus
-Must be 18 years of age
