South Shore Early Education, a South Shore Community Action Council program - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Wareham, Cape Cod, and the Islands, seeks IT/EHS Support Staff 25 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
POSITION: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide clientele with a nurturing, safe, and healthy environment to help them develop socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development in relationship to the overall goal of social competency. Perform teaching activities in accordance with the EEC & EHS Head Start Performance Standards, while assuming a lead role in the classroom.
Involve parents in the educational aspects of the program to increase their knowledge and understanding of skills and experiences in child growth, education, and development, specifically with infants and toddlers. Meal assistance and other various activities as assigned.

Core Qualifications:
High School degree or equivalent, HISET, or GED. Bi-lingual (Portuguese, Arabic, or Spanish) is helpful although not required. Must speak and understand English.
