Job Overview
South Shore Pool Supply has been servicing pools on the South Shore of Massachusetts for nearly 60 years. We have an experienced and growing team of reliable, hard-working, and collaborative technicians.
We are seeking Pool Service Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and has experience servicing swimming pool equipment. We also invite applicants who do not have direct experience servicing swimming pools but who have experience in other trades (electrical, plumbing, etc.) or mechanical settings. Seasonal (March – November) or year-round positions are available, and candidates will be paid for hands-on and classroom training time.
Responsibilities
- Leading teams for pool Openings and Closings
- Performing routine inspections and troubleshooting pool equipment
- Repairing and replacing pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters
Experience & Preferances
- Previous experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar service technician role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is required with the ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and equipment maintenance is preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet client needs
- A desire to work in a collaborative, hard-working, fun, outdoor environment in required
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
