Vacuum Truck Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving and maintaining a vacuum truck

Duties

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Remove waste: extract liquids, solids, and sludge from a variety of sources.
• Clear out pipes and tanks by breaking down waste and mixing it with water.
• Transport collected waste.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Not afraid to work in dirty or messy environments.

Skills

• Proficient in truck driving.
• Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail for conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining logs.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Driving: 3 years (Required)
• Vac truck: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Tanker Endorsement (Required)
• Air Brake Endorsement (Required)
• CDL B (Required)
