Key Responsibilities:
Develop personalized treatment plans that empower clients to improve their daily functioning and mental health · Facilitate transformative group and individual counseling sessions focused on substance use recovery and personal growth · Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and screenings to understand each client's unique needs · Collaborate with treatment teams to provide holistic, client-centered care · Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions · Represent the agency professionally within the community and build positive relationships with referral sources · Respond effectively to crisis situations with compassion and expertise · Engage clients in examining and transforming attitudes, behaviors, and decision-making patterns
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
- Master's or bachelor's degree in a human services field

Qualified Addiction Professional credentials, which may include:
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
- Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRADC)
- Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRAADC)
- Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP)
- Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor-Provisional (RADC-P)
- Co-occurring Disorder Professional (CCDP)
Additional Qualifications: · Must have a current driver's license · Must have current auto insurance · Willing to complete background check · Must obtain First Aid and CPR certification within three months of employment
Physical Requirements: · Sedentary work environment · Ability to sit for extended periods · Occasional walking or standing · Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally
