The incumbent is a seasoned professional with industry knowledge and operational expertise. A natural influencer and pragmatic leader, this role excels at turning strategy into actionable results. With an innovative mindset you will introduce innovative tools and workflows to ensure smooth performance whilst at the same time elevating employee and leader experiences, fine tuning performance and mitigating people-related risk. This role is part of the Senior Leadership team and is the 2IC to the Chief People Learning & Culture Officer (CPLCO).This position is located in our central office in Rivervale with the option to work from home 2 days.We’ll also be asking you to : Support the CPLCO by being a facilitator and enabler of efficiently and effectively delivering on the HR strategy, target and EVP within your area of responsibilityResponsible for our workforce strategy that will attract and retain our current and future talentResponsible for consistent, high quality HR service deliveryMentor and develop HR capabilities to deliver high-quality HR servicesResponsible for data integrity, policy and process frameworks across Recruitment, HR and PayrollDevelop and deliver plans to implement the workforce strategyCoaching leaders on people-related issues and risk in a pragmatic way that builds leadership capability aligned to our values and desired cultureEnsure that organisational design, structures and capability are fit for purpose and ensure effective delivery of the workforce strategyParticipate in and be the people lead on key projects including Mergers and Acquisition activity and strategic projectsLead and deliver the annual people calendar (e.g., Engagement survey, recognition, Remuneration and performance review)Ensure that our industrial instruments are for purpose and we meet our obligations under relevant awards and agreements.Ensure that yourself and your team abide by the Aged Care Code of Conduct and NDIS Standards acting in a way that is respectful, kind and consistent with the behaviours set out in these documents.Proactively contribute to a welcoming and friendly team environmentTo be considered for this role, you’ll need : Extensive experience in a similar rolePolished project and change management skillsProven track record of delivery coupled with customer focusAbility to think different with conviction to raise and prosecute an alternative viewComprehensive working relationship of relevant legislation and industrial relations environmentWell-developed negotiation, influencing and consultation skillsProven experience of leading and managing the employee lifecycleA strong credible leader with a coaching and engaging styleWorking with us : At Southern Cross Care (WA), we are committed to being an employer of choice.
