We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental office operations and be well-versed in Dental terminology, insurance verification, and managed care processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our dental practice while providing exceptional support to our patients and staff.
Duties
- Manage patient records and Insurance claims.
- Perform insurance verification to confirm patient coverage and benefits.
- Maintain organized Dental records and ensure they are up-to-date.
- Provide support in a Dental office environment, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate efficient office operations.
- Utilize knowledge of Dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for patients by addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Ensures all insurance related duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner to ensure excellent patient relations.
- Managing Insurance Fees schedule.
- Managing monthly aging reports
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office is a must
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff professionally.
- Knowledge of Dental software (Dentrix) is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
