Southern Foodservice Management Inc., a national contract food service company, is now looking to hire a highly motivated and creative working Cashier/Prep for our BCBS Surfside Beach corporate account in Myrtle Beach, SC 29575.
You will be responsible for salad bar prep, preparing and checking associates out for breakfast and lunch ring up all items at check out.
You will assist with stocking, maintaining the beverage station and assisting with prep-work as needed, keep the service area clean, stocked, and presentable.
You should have knowledge of cash registers, cash handling, credit card, merchandising, cleaning, sanitizing procedures, food sanitation and how to operate a large conveyor dish machine.
You should be able to follow instructions, have a professional appearance, dependable transportation, teachable attitude, and a strong work ethic.
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday and the shift hours are 6:30am – 2:30pm. No nights or weekends.
The pay range is $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- 2 years’ cashier experience.
- 2 years’ customer service experience.
- Must be able to run a cash register.
- Must be organized, clean, fast and able to multi-task.
- Must enjoy people and be able to provide “Something Extra” to our guest.
- Be able to lift 25 lbs. or more.
- Perform any additional tasks that is requested by a member of the management team.
