Southern Foodservice Management, Inc., a national contract food service company, is looking for Food Service Manager (s) for our dining services at the Fort Gregg Adams located in Richmond, VA (area)
Full-time positions are available based on fluctuating scheduling needs with premium wage rates and very competitive benefits (including medical, dental, vision with reasonable employee contributions and many others)!!
We are looking for individuals who are committed to providing the best possible dining experience with a positive and respectful work environment.
Experience with large staff, coaching, training and accountability is a must. Experience in high volume food service operation preferred. Other qualifications should include ServSafe Manager Certification, a Culinary related degree, Food Service Management or Military Food Service experience.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience as a manager or assistant manager in a high-volume foodservice operation, or equivalent military food service experience.
- Must have knowledge of food services, sanitation and safety standards.
- Must possess leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Must have the ability to motivate team members.
- Must have the capability to work well in team environments.
- ServSafe Manager certification required.
- Must have experience preparing and cooking large quantities of food.
Responsibilities
- Always ensure facilities and work areas are in clean and safe operating condition.
- Conduct all kitchen and dining room set up and closing procedures to ensure it is in operating order.
- Daily temperature documentation of all necessary equipment.
- Monitor team members to ensure proper uniform and that all policies are being followed.
- Complete daily production and accountability reports.
- Directly supervise and support cashiers to include providing drawers and assist with daily audits, as well as making safe deposits.
- Constantly monitor food quality and progressive cooking.
- Assist the kitchen or the front of the house team members throughout the service.
- Responsible for customer and employee relations and employee training and coaching.
