Hospitality Aide Job Duties
Hospitality aides typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Performing basic administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying
- Welcoming guests and answering questions about hotel policies, facilities, and services
- Ensuring that the hotel is clean and safe by performing routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, scrubbing floors, and cleaning bathrooms
- Providing front desk support such as answering phones, greeting guests, and scheduling appointments
- Handling cash transactions using a cash register or point of sale system
- Assisting with special events such as weddings and conferences by setting up chairs, arranging flowers, serving food and beverages, etc.
- Performing clerical duties such as typing, filing, and data entry
- Answering guest questions about local amenities and activities or providing them with information about restaurants and entertainment options in the area
- Preparing guest rooms by making beds, cleaning bathrooms, refilling towels and linens, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
