Job Overview:
An Inside Salesperson is responsible for assisting customers with their tire purchasing needs and assisting Outside Salespeople with customer needs. Their duties include greeting customers, taking orders and assisting with will call orders. This position requires being friendly and hospitable to all customers who come through the door to provide the optimal customer experience to represent the Southern Tire Mart brand.
Responsibilities:
· Interact with customers, listen to their questions and provide timely responses.
· Educate clients about Southern Tire Mart products, services and offers.
· Provide hospitality to customers throughout entire experience at the store.
· Effectively communicate with service technicians to streamline operations.
· Serve as a customer relationship manager.
· Serve as a link between customers and different departments in the organization.
Skills / Education:
· Sales, tire service, front desk experience preferred but not required.
· High School diploma or GED
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Tech savvy (computer/tablets) for point-of-sale system and ordering.
