About the Role:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing prompt and professional service to our customers. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of ToyotaLift material handling equipment, including forklifts, warehouse equipment, and other related machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections, including oil changes, filter replacements, and safety checks.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs, service schedules, and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including work orders and parts usage.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or in a related mechanical field.
- Proven experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
