***Position Overview***

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Addiction Medicine Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. Our program offers comprehensive residential and outpatient substance use treatment, emphasizing patient-centered care and recovery. This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals battling substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of substance use disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based approaches to addiction medicine.
• Prescribe and monitor medications, including MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment), as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to support patients’ recovery.
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on addiction, treatment options, and long-term recovery strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

**Qualifications:**

• Licensed Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner with current licensure in Indiana.
• Board certification or eligibility in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine preferred.
• Experience in addiction medicine or substance use treatment is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
