We're looking for ER physicians for safety monitoring in our research studies.

Job Summary:
As an Investigator at Spaulding's Clinical site, you will be responsible for safety monitoring of the in house/post dose safety of study participants enrolled into clinical trials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide inhouse coverage to monitor and treat potential emergency medical situations for clinical trials participants including hypertensive crisis and cardiac emergencies.
- Assessment of clinical data and clinical status of participants
- Administration and/ or supervision of emergency drugs
- Performing or supervising emergency medical procedures according to ACLS and/or protocol guidelines
- Performing Physical Exams as needed
- Decision on transfer of participants to local Emergency Rooms
- Documentation of all occurrences
- Review, initial and date all safety related data in a timely manner to include laboratory studies, ECGs and all other safety data as dictated by the study protocol.
- Notification of Principal Investigator and study team of any emergency situations/treatments/ and/or transfers required

- Good Clinical Practice Training
- Code-Red
- Blood Borne Pathogen Training
- Good Documentation Practice Training
- Contractor HIPAA and confidentiality
- W.SM-701 Protection of Subject Identification
- QA-603 Fraud and Misconduct
- W.SM-716H Delegation of Authority Process

Skills/Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language.
- A strong ability to meet deadlines.
- A strong ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Currently licensed in the state of Wisconsin as a Medical Doctor (MD/DO)
- Current Board Certification
- Current Certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.or current equivalent work experience
- Emergency Room, ICU, CCU, Hospitalist experience in the past 6 months
