JOB TITLE: Nurse Practitioner
JOB PURPOSE: Licensed independent practitioner who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for patients.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conducts thorough patient evaluations regarding skin care issues and needs.
· Develops diagnosis and treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluation.
· Prepares and educates patients on diagnosis, procedures, proper care and other patient inquiries.
· May administer various treatments such as injections, biopsies, etc.
· Sustain proficiency through continuous education.
· Maintain up to date licenses and certifications.
· Maintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
JOB SKILLS & PROFICIENCIES
· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
· Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
· Ability to deliver advanced, compassionate, patient-centered care.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to work independently and collaborate with other providers and staff.
