Description

In our shipping / customer service position you get the opportunity to not only invoice, package, and ship orthodontic appliances you'll have the ability to assist customers over the phone and do order entry as well. We love to cross-train, so if you like to work in an environment where you're able to continually learn, we have a position just for you.
We ARE The helping hand to the orthodontist or dentist to help them provide their patient with a perfect smile!
Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time, depending on task being performed.
- Ability to walk and carry parts, materials, etc.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure to meet deadlines.
Requirements
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Perform final quality checks in relation to patient/doctor names and shipping address prior to invoicing.
- Invoice, package and ship cases.
- Perform data entry / order entry into lab software.
- Contact doctors' offices regarding issues with models/scans/Rxs.
- Order and restock supplies for shipping department.
- Check in materials including bands/appliances that belong to digital cases.
- Check in and distribute lab materials to appropriate department.
- Answer phone and assist customers as needed.
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional when dealing with all types of people.
- Assemble and ship Partner Packs.
- Retrieve emails to convert to digital cases.
- Backup receiving department.
- Enter tracking information into Easy Rx.
- Maintain orderly filing of Work Tickets, box up as needed.
- Assist with month-end processes as requested.
- Ability to recognize types of appliances being shipped to determine which brochures to include with shipment.
- Ability to determine correct shipping terms to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ability to apply work instructions and follow procedures for each type of shipment.
- Ability to understand and follow requirements of the quality system procedure as defined in standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Safeguard and protect confidentiality of company and patient information as defined by the company’s Confidentiality Agreement.
