Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various saws for cutting aluminum and other materials. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all products meet the required specifications.
Duties
- Operate saws to cut metal and other materials according to specifications.
- Perform quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet standards.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery, including press brake machines, to assemble components as needed.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Use measuring tools to verify dimensions of cut materials.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of saws and machinery.
- Familiarity with aluminum fabrication processes and tooling is preferred.
- Experience with quality inspection techniques and tools, including micrometers.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Proficient in using hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
