Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Plating Manager at SPF America, LLC in Fort Smith, AR. The Plating Manager will be responsible for overseeing the plating operations, managing the plating team, ensuring quality control, and meeting production targets. Additionally, the Plating Manager will be involved in process improvement initiatives, inventory management, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in plating and wastewater treatment operations and managing a team
- Knowledge of quality control processes and production target management
- Understanding of process improvement methodologies
- Maintaining facility compliance to city, state, and federal regulations
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Responsible for EH&S for the facility and employees
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field is a plus
