RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead drafting and shop drawing processes to meet manufacturing and construction requirements.
- Utilize drafting expertise to create, review, and refine shop drawings as needed.
- Manage resources, including employee development and training programs.
- Oversee schedules to ensure timely delivery of shop drawings and manufacturing needs.
- Resolve discrepancies in drafting and manufacturing processes promptly.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize workflows and remove roadblocks.
- Implement performance metrics and continuous improvement strategies.
MUST HAVE:
- Experience in drafting, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
- Leadership experience with a focus on team performance and accountability.
- Proficiency in drafting software; familiarity with Procore software is a plus.
- Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing and construction processes preferred.
- A proactive problem-solver with the ability to adapt to challenges.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Proficiency in Procore software
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
