Job Description: Sales and Marketing Manager (Fee-for-Service Multi clinic Model)
Position Title: Sales and Marketing Manager
Reports To: CEO/COO
Position Summary: The Sales and Marketing Manager is a dynamic leadership role responsible for driving patient acquisition, maximizing case acceptance, and ensuring the seamless integration of sales and marketing efforts across a multi-clinic model. The manager will oversee lead generation strategies, collaborate with the call center, sales, and marketing teams, and ensure alignment with the organization’s goals. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing fee-for-service models, where patient financing options and high-quality care are critical to success.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management
Lead Call Center Oversight
- Collaborate closely with the call center team to optimize lead qualification, scheduling, and follow-ups.
- Implement and monitor scripts, call handling protocols, and conversion techniques to maximize appointment setting and show rates.
Case Acceptance
- Work directly with clinic sales teams to implement training, coaching, and sales techniques focused on increasing case acceptance rates.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to case presentation, patient objections, and financing solutions.
- Provide ongoing coaching to ensure team members deliver a patient-centric, consultative sales approach.
Team Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between sales, clinical, and marketing teams to ensure seamless communication and shared objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
Marketing Management
Lead Generation:
- Partner with the marketing team to design and execute lead generation campaigns using digital platforms, traditional advertising, and other relevant channels.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance to ensure ROI and cost-per-lead targets are met.
- Collaborate on creative strategies that resonate with the target audience and drive patient inquiries.
Brand and Content Strategy:
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials and patient touchpoints.
- Partner with marketing to create content that educates and engages prospective patients about treatment options and success stories.
Tracking and Reporting:
- Utilize CRM systems to track and analyze leads, sales performance, and marketing effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed reports for leadership on the success of campaigns and recommendations for improvement.
Operational and Strategic Support
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
- Develop and implement SOPs for sales and marketing processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Continuously improve workflows to enhance patient experience and team productivity.
Budget Management:
- Oversee sales and marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
Clinic Expansion:
- Support the strategic growth of the multi-clinic model by developing scalable systems for lead generation, sales, and marketing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing management, preferably in fee-for-service healthcare, dental, or aesthetic industries.
- Proven track record of driving lead generation, sales conversion, and patient acquisition in a multi-location environment.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, marketing analytics, and sales tracking tools.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams.
- Knowledge of financing options for patients, such as CareCredit or similar solutions, and how to integrate these into the sales process.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Lead conversion rate (inquiries to appointments).
- Case acceptance rate (consults to closed cases).
- Cost per lead (marketing ROI).
- Appointment show rate.
- Revenue growth and clinic profitability.
- Team engagement and adherence to protocols.
Work Environment: This is a full-time position requiring both onsite and occasional remote work. The Sales and Marketing Manager will travel between clinic locations as needed and work closely with the central call center, Patient Education Consultants (sales) and marketing support agencies.
Compensation: Competitive salary with performance-based incentives tied to clinic growth and revenue targets.
