Slitting Machine Helper Position:
To perform a variety of activities in assisting the operator of a finishing/ slitting machine.
Second Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the slitter machine is producing quality products while assisting the operator.
- Work with operator to ensure proper materials and machine set up.
- Monitor deviations in materials and running conditions; make corrections with operator's assistance and report deviations to operator.
- Work with operator to ensure paperwork and data entry is completed accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting in preparation and packaging.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs. Standing up to 8 hours a day, twisting, bending and squatting.
Education and Skills Required:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Basic computer proficiencies
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
Other:
