What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Clerk position at SPIRE Integrated Solutions?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILIITES
1. Interface with all PRIMUS functional groups in person, by phone and email. Be able to manage multiple priorities on a real time basis
2. Manage the Non-Conformance processes and log.
3. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the UPS account, prepare shipping labels and ensure package transit
4. Responsible for the spare parts Kanban system to optimize inventory and delivery as well as tracking daily.
5. Check in and Put away parts daily per work instructions.
6. Process and route paperwork for proper procedures and documentation.
7. Pull parts for jobs as instructed, note and report any shortages, inform supervisors, and ensure ordered from vendor
8. Conduct monthly cycle counts of spare parts and thoroughly investigate any discrepancies
9. Have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 40 pounds on a frequent basis throughout the day
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods throughout the day
Valid state driver’s license
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or GED is required, familiarity/aptitude with plumbing and electrical parts, plus 3 - 5 years experienced in parts warehousing, distribution, and receiving preferred
