Job Description
The project planner is responsible for developing and updating schedule and curves for civil, structural, pipe, mechanical and electrical/ instrumentation. This position will be responsible for schedule development, reporting, impact identification and baseline management activities.

Essential Job Duties
- Analyzes critical path impacts and leads schedule mitigation planning and execution.
- Coordinate project schedules and assist with the development of scheduling reports.
- Assist Project Manager to review data; maintain logs; and run reports for site planning and controls.
- Develops, interprets, and executes policy, objectives and standards applicable to schedule control and analysis activities.
- Work with the Client, Project Manager, Superintendent to ensure accurate and timely deliverables relating to overall project status.
- Collects, reviews, revises, and maintains historical schedule data.
- Administers project schedule analysis and examines problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activities. Suggests alternatives for schedule improvement to project team for discussion and decision making.
- Prepares and presents planning and scheduling information to management and client.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
· Experienced in determining milestones for the project. Ability to examine project activities to support project milestones; substantiate schedule resource loading and leveling for comprehensiveness and achievability; and perform schedule quality checks and decide health of the schedule.
· Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems.
· Skilled in oral and written communication.
· Prior planning/ scheduling experience of 3 to 5 years.
· Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically.

· Experience of use of Planning Software, (Primavera P6), Navisworks and Microsoft Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word

· 200 Pieces of Process Mechanical Equipment
· 930,000 LF of Electrical Cable
· 120,000 LF of Process Piping
· 60,000 LF of Instrumentation
