JOB DESCRIPTION; As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Administer personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Help with mobility assistance and transferring
- Document and maintain accurate medical records
- Adhere to medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience in home community care or related field preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical records
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility needs
- Experience in caregiving, nursing homes, or senior care is a plus
Requirements
- Current NJ Home Health Aide Certification
- Current PPD or Chest XRAY and recent Physical
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Ability to use smartphone for clocking in and out, case info, etc.
