- Emotional Support: Offer emotional and social support to residents, fostering a warm and caring environment.
- Service Plan Adherence: Follow residents’ service plans to ensure their specific care needs are met.
- Training & Mentorship: Assist in training new caregivers and serve as a resource for fellow staff.
- Care Coordination: Review resident care schedules daily for accuracy and completion, ensuring all needs are met.
- Documentation: Adhere to department documentation standards and inform supervisors of any resident issues or concerns.
- Safety & Compliance: Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and health regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Compassionate Nature: A genuine desire to help and improve residents' lives through compassionate care.
- Strong Communicator: Ability to convey information effectively to residents, families, and colleagues.
- Detail-Oriented: Careful attention to detail in following care plans and documentation.
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with others and support your team.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or six to twelve months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
