What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sleep Tech PRN position at Spring View Hospital?
The Polysomnographic Technologist will work under the general supervision of the Medical Director. They will perform various studies, which include PSG, PAP titrations, MSLT and MWT’s that will aid in evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. The Polysomnographic Technologist will monitor the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations, collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the physician. They will also be responsible for oxygen therapy when applicable and scoring sleep reports and home studies.
Current registration The Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, and CPR certification are required. Minimum of one year of experience in sleep studies is required. High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
