Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Promote good public relations among families, visitors, residents, and staff.
- Must be able to assess resident’s needs, both visually and verbally.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with the residents, families, visitors and staff.
- Refer all complaints/messages to the appropriate staff member or management team.
- Answer resident phone calls and appropriate information
- Assess residents during community calls if EMS is appropriate and provide handoff to EMS
- Support providers in the clinic with rooming patients according to protocol,
- Follow all policies and procedures for patient care in the clinic.
- Maintain neatness and cleanliness in the clinic exam rooms, treatment rooms, and nurses workroom.
- Backup clinic secretary when appropriate.
- Any other tasks upon request
- Responsible for reading, understanding, and following the Springmoor Inclement Weather Plan and Fire Safety Plan.
- Clinic nurses will be evaluated upon completing 90 days and on annual review (anniversary date of hire) by the Medical Records Coordinator based on compliance with Springmoor rules and regulations and performance of responsibilities. Evaluations will be completed by the Medical Records Supervisor and approved by the Administrator
Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse in NC required
Batchelor’s of Nursing preferred
3 years of nursing experience
Salary : $27 - $33
